Welcome to Central London Fencing Club

We are fencing specialists in the heart of London, and we look forward to welcoming you to our busy and vibrant fencing club.

Fencing is a fun, fast-paced and exciting sport. If you would like to learn fencing (or get back into fencing after a break), you've come to the right place. Central London Fencing Club is a welcoming and friendly club and we look forward to meeting you.

We are a located in Westminster in the heart of central London, close to Victoria, Pimlico, and Vauxhall. We have a range of fencing ability at the club from complete beginners through to competitive fencers.

We welcome fencing beginners, fencing intermediates and experienced/advanced fencers (foil and epee) on Monday and Wednesday evenings. We run regular fencing adult beginner classes and adult taster sessions for those new to fencing.

For children's fencing, please click here.

We fence foil and epee at the club, and guest fencers and student fencers are welcome (fees apply). Experienced international fencing visitors are also welcome as guests when visiting London.

For experienced fencers, we also run a number of informal/friendly competitions throughout the year, and we encourage members to participate in competitions.

We also offer regular fencing for schools, and we run fencing corporate and group events (including stag and hen groups).

Fencing is a mixed sport, so it’s a good way to meet a wide range of new people, and many members socialise in a local pub after training sessions.

We do our best to make sure everybody feels welcome at the club so whether you are new to London, or new to fencing, we hope to welcome you soon at Central London Fencing Club.

"I started with beginner classes, and the energy and fun are totally infectious. One of the great things about the club is how easy it is to move up from that level into fencing with good people, without being made to feel hopeless: everyone is really open and friendly, while loving their fencing.
